"St Kliment Ohridski" University - Bitola has signed an Agreement for establishing a Joint Master Study in Management of Business Administration (MBA) with the prestigious Higher Education Institution, from Columbus, Ohio, the Franklin University (www.franklin.edu). Under this Agreement, the Franklin MBA program will be made available to Macedonian students, with completed appropriate previous studies, starting with the new academic year 2009/2010, at our University, but through classes held by renowned academic staff from the American University. The Agreement on Joint Master Studies was signed in December 2008, upon an initiative by the Minister of Information Society, Ivo Ivanovski, also a graduate of Franklin’s Master program in Computer Science. Signing of this Agreement is actually Franklin’s second international offering for a joint degree that follows the successful collaboration it has with the Wroclaw Banking School in Poland.


The joint degree program in Business Management provides the candidates with a unique learning opportunity, both in terms of theoretical knowledge needed for developing the required business competences and in terms of instilling in the student the corresponding qualities required of the business professionals of the new age. The program, emphasizes throughout its courses, the key themes of business disciplines and successfully manages to link them to the needs of the contemporary business trends. The program is so designed to ensure training of students for developing leadership roles, which will contribute significantly to their everyday work, on their workplace, in their organization and eventually in the society. This program is created to satisfy the requirements of professionals who are interested in advancing their careers while meeting the demands they are regularly faced with at work and by increasing their level of competence in resolving the ever-growing and complex business challenges.


The MBA program offers ten essential courses with a total duration of 40 hours. The MBA courses are as follows:
